The 2010 Performance Sale will give you many choices. It will consist of approximately 65 Limousin and Lim-Flex bulls and 40 Limousin females. The genetics in these cattle are designed to improve both the productivity and sustainability of your cowherd. The Mandayen Limousin Stud is owned by Damien and Len Gommers at Murray Bridge and Keith, SA. Established in 1994 the cowherd now consists of approximately 300 registered and performance recorded breeding females.
The 2010 Limousin Performance Sale will be held on our Keith property at the "Eight Mile" Sale Complex. This will be our inaugural on property auction and the sale will include genetics of the highest calibre, we feel that both seedstock and commercial producers will be able to select genetics to suit both their individual needs and budgets.
Mandayen's 2009 sale provided the opportunity for breeder's to obtain high quality genetics at very reasonable prices. 54 bulls sold to a high price of $10,500 with 39 bulls selling for $4,500 or less. Again in 2010 we will catalogue more bulls to choose from. Purchasing quality, performance recorded bulls who are developed in large contemporary groups is a sound investment into the future of your beef business.
