Limousin Assurance Program
The Mandayen Limousin Stud is a member of the
Limousin Assurance Program.
The basic requirements to participate in the LAP are that members score their calves for docility, warrant the fertility and docility of their sale animals and
transfer animals to buyers on request.
The LAP is a quality assurance program which allows Limousin members to provide information (pedigrees and EBVs) and standard warranties for animals offered for sale. Docility scoring which allows the calculation of EBVs for docility is an integral part of the LAP.

Mandayen Comparison Chart 2009
Mandayen is on the desirable side of the ledger for all Breedplan traits in the breed. We are above average for Milk; 200, 400 and 600 Day Growth; Scrotal Size; and Docility. We are below average for Birth Weight and Gestation Length. We are particularly pleased with the docility rating, a trait we have placed great emphasis on since inception - our rating is some 2.7 times better than the breed average.
